Counting Down

So the days are drawing nearer.

Frankly, the only thing i'm really looking forward to is the ECA at Singapore! Checked it on their website and i found out some really new clubs that we don't have in Malaysia, well at least my current school, for example the Harp ensemble.

Orientation day is on 3rd of February.
Wonder who would be my roommate and which nationality she would be.

Wonder how much would i miss home, apart missing my parents more.
Wonder how would studying over there would be.

Wonder if i would be able to cope with the syllabus.
Wonder if i would fit in perfectly.

There are too many uncertainties, awaiting for me to reveal.

Luckily i'm not taking a flight there alone, but sometimes i wish i had. At least i don't have to wave my parents goodbye at the boarding school, knowing i would not be able to see them anytime soon.

Anyway, i just have to face all these one day, sooner or later, so let's just brave it out! :D

School today was err average.
The first thing i saw when i stepped into the class in the morning was Yao Sheng sweeping the floor! Seeing someone doing their duty so early in the morning and yet a guy doing it this is totally freaking me out. Anyway that was cool. ;) 看来今年的体育股长都对卫生股挺有兴趣的嘛,想窜位?:P

Managed to find out what did Bing Sheng do after school yesterday. I was dumbfounded knowing that he actually swept THE ENTIRE CLASS and arranged the tables. :O hahha 这里有个人珍惜你放学后做的东西 ;) Thanks yo best cleaner of the year given out by the mighty me. :P

hahhaha 谢谢你们对卫生股的关照 :3

The Story Never Ends

Leaving for Singapore on 2nd of February.

As for those who doesn't know, i'm going to attend college at Singapore. Was awarded the ASEAN Scholarship. Although i'm still not notified about which school/JC i'm posted to, I can roughly guess which school i'm going from my hostel posting. However, i'm not sure if i'll get an IB school or A-levels JC (since i heard it's really rare for MOE to post Pre-U scholars to IB schools).

Part of me hopes it's IB part of me doesn't. Pros of IB: Get to take more subjects and both humanities and science subj are required. Hence will be more all-rounded. Cons of IB: Time consuming, tougher than A-levels(since there are more subjs).

A-levels at Singapore JCs are different from those in Malaysia. A'levels at singapore differs from Malaysia's as in their A-levels has been coordinated with Singapore syllabus.

Anyway I was posted to Anglo-Chinese (Independent) Boarding School.
Yes, it's an independent school again. I thought i am going to get a school like Chong Hwa, instead i was totally wrong! Googled about AC(I) Boarding School. Well, i'm quite satisfied with the facilities offered to boarders especially the sporting facilities including the Olympic-sized swimming pool, gym, rock-climbing, squash courts, tennis, rugby pitch, 400m running track etc. It means that i don't have to give up the sports i'm doing over here at the clubhouse. :D
